The sun was shining through the big bay windows of suite 1814 of Trump Towers, but it wasn't bothering the couple occupying it. Both laid there just staring at the other in the eyes. They were connected, not in the physical sense, neither were touching the other but spiritually they were connected at the moment. The way he felt was the way she felt. Both hearts felt the same joy and pain. The two spoke with their eyes, telling what the mouth wanted but wouldn't dare.

He made contact by moving a strand of hair out of her face that was blocking his great view of her. She kissed his palm before he moved it back by his side, never once breaking eye contact.

"You're doing it again." Safaree said. Nicki adjusted in the bed they were sharing.

"What do you mean?"

"You've locked me into staring at you like we used to do." Nicki smiled.

"I'm sorry." She said still staring at him."

"You know we have to call and check on our kids."

"I know but a little longer. I don't want to hear moms mouth just yet."

"Will you be mad if i break our moment, we need to eat."

"Nooo, we can last a little longer."

"Nicki your stomach has been making noises for the past hour."

"You heard that?"

"Yeah. Let me order us some food and you go take a shower."

"Am I funky?" She raised her arm high. Safaree leaned over and sniffed.

"You've smelled better." he wrinkled his nose. She hit his chest.

"Hey, you love my funk." Nicki drew her bottom lip into her mouth smiling at him.

"Yeah I do." Safaree leaned over and pulled her into a kiss. "Go wash yo ass." He popped her on her butt and rolled out of the bed.

Nicki stretched out in the bed., still in the sweats she wore out of the church the day before. She sat up and watched Safaree move about in the front area of the suite. The urge to pee hit her so she jumped up and went into the bathroom. After releasing her bladder she washed her hands and began brushing her teeth. Still brushing she went and turned on the shower, adjusting the temperature to just below "hot as hell". Going back to the sink she rinsed her mouth out then disrobed, her thoughts went to Damon.

Safaree was out in the living room setting the small table for the food when it arrived. He went to change the sheets, he had housekeeping bring up extra sheets the night before so they wouldn't be disturbed. After tidying up the suite Safaree got undressed and decided to hop in the shower but noticed Nicki still hadn't finished up. He walked in the bathroom being hit with a cloud of steam. When he made his way to the glass shower he seen Nicki vigorously rubbing at her skin with her towel. He could here her cries. Safaree opened the shower door and watched her for a second. He reached for her but she pushed him and kept scrubbing at her skin.

"Nicki what are you doing?"

"I can still smell him on me. Make it go away, please." She said through tears. "I can't get it to go away, baby make it go away." She pushed the towel into his hands. He stood for a second trying to process what was going on. "Safaree please." She begged. He began rubbing her body with the cloth. "Harder." he scrubbed a little harder. She poured more of Safaree's body wash on the towel, that was all she had to use.

"Nicki everything is going to be okay." Safaree reassured her. He didn't want to keep going at her skin the way he was. Her skin was sensitive and she would be red all over if he kept this up. "He's gone you don't have to see him ever again." Safaree held on to her letting her know she wasn't alone, she latched on to his body.

"Don't ever leave me, please? I'll do better than last time, just please don't go." She looked up at him with the water still pouring over her head mixing in with her tears.

"I'll never leave you again. I mean that."

The Next Day

Safaree had finally convinced Nicki to go home after much back and forth. They were currently sitting in the car in front of the house. Nicki was scrolling through her phone. Every time Safaree suggested they get out she would say "One minute", they were on the 12th minute. Safaree was getting agitated because he wanted to see his kids and she was playing around. Safaree opened the door and Nicki's hand flew to his arm.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"In the house, this is dumb. I want to see my kids."

"And you think I don't?" She let go of his arm.

"Well come on baby there is nothing to be afraid of in there. Everyone is excited to see you." He said stroking her cheek.

"How are they excited if they don't know I'm coming?" She squinted her eyes at him.

"Maybe I might have sent out a txt saying you were coming home." Nicki rolled her eyes. "But baby everyone was so worried and blowing me up asking when you were gonna come home. I had to tell them."

"It's okay babe let's go in, I wanna see my babies." she put her phone in her purse.

They got out the car and headed towards the door. Safaree took her keys and unlocked it letting her step inside first.

When Nicki walked in she heard a lot of commotion coming from the kitchen and living room area. The house looked in decent shape. All her wedding gifts were siting in front of the closet and most of the front entrance. She instantly got sad until she heard Zaria screaming her name and running towards her. Nicki dropped her purse and fell to her knees holding out her arms for an hug.

"Mommy I missed you." Zaria screamed and ran into her mothers arms.

"Not as much as I missed you baby." Nicki planted kisses all over her face.

"Mommy can I have a snack?" Zaria asked. Nicki chuckled at her daughter, she missed these moments.

"Yes baby, you can have a snack."

"So you don't love your daddy no more?" Safaree said looking hurt.

Before Zaria could answer there was a loud crash and a scream.
