Damon looks from Nicki to Shante wondering where the tension is coming from since he has never met Shante before. He breaks the silence introducing himself since neither Nicki nor Safaree seemed to do so. Nicki was giving Safaree and evil glare while he just smiled at her smugly.

"Hi I'm Damon, Nicki's Fiance." He extended his hand.

"Hello I'm Shante, I'm-"

"Nobody important." Nicki cut her off grabbing Damon's extended hand. "Come on baby let's go bless the food and eat." Nicki plastered a big smile on her face and walked off with Damon.

"Uh it was nice meeting you Shante." Damon said while being pulled away. "Babe what was all that about. why were you rude to that girl?"

"Why do you care?"

"Look I don't want to fight with you okay. I just want you to be happy today that's all." Damon kissed her cheek. Nicki sighed.

"I know you do baby, I'm sorry for snapping on you baby."

The pair went to the head table and prayed over the food and then everyone went to make plates. Everyone was eating and joking around. Nicki became more and more annoyed by Shante as the night progressed. Shante was being extra in Nicki's eyes,  touching on Safaree unnecessarily, speaking when her two cents was clearly not needed, and laughing obnoxiously. Nicki was over both of them and was two seconds away from screaming at them to get out. Nicki's little brother came over and started speaking with her taking her mind off the two odd balls in the room. Damon whispered in Nicki's ear then went  outside to take a phone call.

"Why do you keep blowing up my phone?"

"You keep ignoring me that's why. Why haven't you come to see me?" Said the voice on the other end.

"I'm busy with my wedding that's why. I got you your money, now just give me time."

"I just want to see you Damon and know that you're alright, I miss you." Damon ran his hand over his face.

"I know you miss me, I miss you too. You have to give me time so I can work somethings out then I'll be back to see you."

"Let me come to the wedding on Saturday, she did send me an invitation."

"No! Do not come here. How would that look my Wife and my lover at my wedding. I won't disrespect her like that."

"You're already disrespecting her every time you come down and fuck me. She can't make you feel like I can."

"Please stop. We'll be together, just be patient."

"Okay. I don't me to stress you out, it's just I was here first and she's all in my territory."

"This was your idea so don't get in  your feelings."

"I know it was my idea. I just wish it was me walking down the aisle instead of that bitch."

"Why are you so mean towards her? She has been nothing but nice to you. I'm starting to regret everything, she doesn't deserve this."

"Don't grow a heart and conscious now. Get the rest of the money and when six months is up divorce her and get back to me." Damon peeped back in the part room and seen Nicki. She looked like she was ready to snap.

"Look I gotta go. I'll call you don't call me no more." Damon hung up. And went back into the room and sat by Nicki.

"Is everything okay?" She asked.

"Everything is just fine." He kissed her forehead.

Nicki watched her and Damon's family tear up the dance floor to One Nation Under a Groove by Bootsy Collins. She loved seeing her family happy. She was happy until she seen Shante and Safaree dancing.

"Come on baby lets go dance." Nicki grabbed Damon's hand.

"Baby you don't dance." He laughed. She glared at him.

"Then be a good future husband and teach me." She said.

"Alright, let's go."

They merged on to the dance floor with everyone else. Nicki tried her best to keep up with Damon and not look like a fool. She tried mirroring his moves but it just didn't work so she went to her go to move which was just rolling her body. Nicki figured she couldn't mess that up to bad. All of a sudden she collided with another, she turned around to apologize but when she seen it was Shante she just turned around and continued dancing. Shante wasn't letting it go and tapped Nicki on her shoulder.

"Um next time you bump into somebody you need to say excuse me." Shante turned back around. Safaree prayed Nicki had learned to hold her peace but when he seen her turn around he knew shit was about to hit the fan.

"You bumped into me at my party sweetie so you need to be the one thanking me for not beating your ass." Nicki whipped her head around hitting Shante in the face with her blond lace front.

"Just let it go Shante." Safaree said.

"You need to listen to the fool." Nicki yelled over her shoulder now dancing with Damon again.

"Is everything okay?" Damon mouthed to Nicki. she shook her head yes and kept dancing.

"I don't know who the hell you think you are but I'm not one to kiss anybody ass. You bumped into me and I deserve an apology." Shante slightly pushed Nicki's shoulder. Nicki stumbled forward a little bit because of her heels. Nicki turned around with a right hook waiting for Shante's left jaw but all she met was Safaree's chest.

"Not today." he said. But Nicki was still trying to get to her. The party had stopped and everyone was looking at the what was going on.

"Safaree let me take her up to the room."

"Naw I got this. Me and her need to talk." Safaree picked her up fireman style over his shoulder carrying her out the room still trying to get back and fight Shante.

"What's going on here?" Safaree's mom asked.

"She just mad because Safaree wants me and not her.

"Girl don't be stupid. You see who he is trying to calm down. He didn't want you four years ago and he doesn't want you now. You should go before your little feelings get hurt again. Nina, Lauren, Candi. please escort this young lady out.

"Gladly." Nina said.

"Well let's go." Lauren pushed the girl. Shante squealed from once again being embarrassed by Nicki.

Meanwhile Safaree was looking for someplace to talk to Nicki that was private. He went down the hall Checking random doors while Nicki beat his back telling him to put her down. Safaree jiggled the handle to the last door on the right and it opened. He walked in and turned on the light, it was the janitors closet. He went in and closed the door putting Nicki down.

"What the hell was that?" He asked.

"Bitch pushes me and you ask me that question? Move Safaree." She tried to move passed him but he nudged her back.

"Why have you been acting so petty lately?" Nicki's eyes widen.

"Me acting petty? You brought that trick to my rehearsal dinner knowing I don't like her, if that ain't some petty shit I don't know what is. Move Safaree."

"No."

"What do you want from me?"

"I want to talk. I want to finish us and be clear on where we stand. I want you to tell me you don't love me."

"Let me go Safaree." She made it to the door but he pushed it closed, pushing her her into the door. He moved her hair away from her neck and put his face there. "Safaree please."

"Please what Nicki? Tell me what you want and what you don't want." He kissed her cheek then her neck. She tried her best not to but a moan escaped her lips. She turned with her back to the door and stared at him. She ran her hand over his cheek. "Tell me what you want, please?"

Nicki didn't know what she wanted, that was the problem. She pulled him into a tight hug, she couldn't tell him what he wanted.

"I want to marry Damon." She whispered in his ear. He pulled away from her with a hurt expression on his face. "I will always love you Safaree, you're my best friend." She grabbed his hands but he snatched away.

"Leave."

"Please be happy for me." She was crying.

"I'm happy. Don't I look happy?" He put on smile. "Go back to your party Nicki." He opened the door for her and Damon was there with a scowl on his face.

"Damon." Nicki said caught off guard by him.

"What the hell is going on between you two?" Damon asked.

"What do you mean Damon?"

"Don't play dumb with me Onika. You know what I mean. Every time I try and comfort you I can't because he's already doing it. You never come to me for your problems you always go to him. You don't treat me like your future husband. Tell me what's going on."

"Nothing baby."

"I heard you moaning in here so don't tell me it's nothing."

"I don't know what you heard but you didn't hear that. Tell him Safaree." Nicki's eyes were pleading with him not to act of anger and spill.

"Well Safaree is that what I heard? Were you making my fiance moan?" Damon clenched his fists.

Safaree had to grin at that question. He wanted to say not only have i made her moan but I've made her scream out my name countless times as she came all over my dick. I've had her all over that room you share and at times used your body wash to shower with. But he looked at her and couldn't do that to her.

"Naw that's not what you heard at all. I was just trying to get her to calm down, she was crying because she was embarrassed by the way she acted in front of your family."

"See, now will you calm down please." Nicki just wanted to keep peace between the two. "I need to finish talking to Safaree so can we have a moment."

"No we are done talking you can go."

"Safaree please, we need to figure out where we stand remember?"

"Naw I see where we stand Nic. Everything is all good. I'm bout to head out, I'll go up and say goodbye to the kids then I'm out. Have a nice night." Safaree brushed passed both of them and got on the elevator.

"Nicki I'm sorry for assuming things it's just You won't ever let me be there for you and it's frustrating. I know he is your best friend but you did used to date him so it's just weird to me i guess? Can you forgive me?" Nicki just shook her head yes.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom I'll meet you back in the part okay?"

"Alright, you sure you don't want me to wait on you?"

"No I'm good but thanks." She walked off down the hall and found the restroom. She pulled her Blackberry from her pocket and dialed Safaree. He picked up.

"What Nicki?"

"Please don't be out there driving that car crazy."

"Why are you so worried about me? Go get married and stop thinking about me."

"Safaree please, I need you here for me."

"Well I don't see that happening."

"What does that mean?"

"It means I won't be at your wedding. Get the fuck off my phone Nicki." He hung up. She tried calling back but it just rang and eventually it just went straight to voicemail. She broke down crying at the bathroom counter. She heard the door open but couldn't see who it was through her tears.

"Nicki what's wrong." it was Nina. She had Candi, and Lauren with her.

"Where is Safaree?" Candi asked.

"He left. He said he's not coming to my wedding. He hates me."

"He doesn't hate you. What happen between you two?" Nina asked.

"Long story, we'll fill you in later." Lauren said. "Come on Nicki we will take you up to my room so you can get yourself together." Nicki held on to Nina as the made there way upstairs.

Next Day

Nicki still hadn't heard from Safaree which was killing her. She hadn't gotten any sleep at all because she was up worried about him and she was going over her finance book and things weren't adding up. She had all the receipts Carla had given her but things still were off. She was getting pissed because she had never been careless and let her money be unaccounted for. She figured she needed to go further back in the books and see if she made the mistake there. Damon entered her study.

"Baby you haven't been to sleep yet come get in the bed and relax with me."

"I can't, something is wrong and I have to figure it out." Damon looked to see what she was staring at. He panicked.

"Nicki you really need to sleep."

"Damon I said no."

"If it was Safaree telling you to do it you wouldn't protest." She took off her glasses and stared at him.

"Please don't start with 'If it was Safaree' today? I said I'm not going and that's that."

"Damn it Nicki. For once can you just please do what I ask?" he yelled. "Put the book up and go lay down."

Nicki gave up she didn't feel like arguing today. She took her book and walked out leaving him standing there. Damon wanted her to leave the book not take it. He went to go see if she went to the bedroom, when he got in there she was on the phone with Martin.

"No I've gone over and over the records. Everything matches up but my account is $500,000 dollars short Martin."

"Listen Nicki I will take all of your records to an accountant and get this sorted out."

"Martin you know I don't trust them, they might mess up."

"Like you did?" She got quiet. "Listen it can't hurt to have a fresh pair of eyes look at the records. Nicki get some rest."

"Have you heard from Safaree?" She asked.

"No but as soon as I do you will be the first person I call. Now get some rest boss, you get married in two days."

"Alright, call me if the accountant has any questions. And get a Japanese one they're good with numbers." Martin laughed.

"Okay now go to sleep." She hung up and put her book in her nightstand.

Damon watched her as she did everything but lay down. She fiddled with her phone, channel surfed, and got on her laptop.

"So you are just not do what I asked?" he asked annoyed. She didn't even look up.

"You told me to relax and that's what I'm doing. I'm not tired." She said through a yawn.

"Yeah okay." he said sarcastically.

"Damon either get in the bed and lay with me or get out." he sighed and went and got in the bed.

She watched her timeline move at a rapid pace. She hadn't tweeted in about a week, she hadn't went that long since 2012 when she deactivated.

Nicki Closed her laptop and laid against Damon. She watched Celebrity Apprentice until she dozed off.
